Rebel Kitchen, a fun and quirky eatery in Kainaliu (Kealakekua), is known for their bold flavors, local ingredients, and fresh food. Husband and wife team, Gabby and Randy, offer a delicious selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and flavors from around the world inspired by Cajun, Cuban, Peruvian, Jamaican, and Thai cooking. It's a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike!
Rebel kitchen is perhaps best known for their fresh made sauces featuring island-grown ingredients. Kona Ketchup, Hawaiian Fire Sauce, and Mauka Mustard are made only with the finest and freshest produce, Rebel spice and flavor blends, and blended to perfection. "We believe in sourcing locally as well as taking care of our ʻāina. We get our product from local farmers, butchers, fishermen, and suppliers to source what we can from our Island. We use eco-friendly food packing products to minimize our impact on our environment.
We chose to be rebels for following our dreams. We were a couple of kids with a dream of opening our own restaurant, after years of planning and saving we made the move and in 2011 Rebel Kitchen was born. From day one, our goal was to make real food packed with flavor, made with love, and to be a place for the community. We are a true “mom & pop” business, meaning we do everything ourselves. By popular demand we have expanded into making condiments so that you take the flavors of Rebel Kitchen home with you. Mahalo for all your support throughout the years!"
