Melanie Pruitt is a local artist who takes great joy in living on Hawaiʻi Island! She paints wonderfully diversified tropical-themed art fit for home, office, and children's nursery. In addition to selling in galleries across Hawaiʻi Island, Melanie Pruitt Art offers Hawaii themed Fine Art Originals, Fine Art Prints, Giclées, and gifts, which can be purchased from her online store and shipped directly to your home. All printing is done locally.

In our "Gift Shop Section" we also sell greeting cards sets (including Christmas cards), small space wall hangings, and Graphically Enriched metal prints, all designed with my original artwork.

As a viewer, the best art touches my heart and makes me 'feel' something. This is what I want for those who view my work. I am an expressionist painter, attempting to draw the viewer into the feelings of Hawaii life—especially nature—around me. Sometimes my paintings are jubilant, joyful, colorful - expressing how I see the world. Other times, they are filled with light and dark, revealing my belief that light will shine again, even in the dark places. Some are soft and contemplative because I also have a pensive side that enjoys the stillness and quietness of the environment around me. Through them all, I hope to draw the viewer closer to The Creator of all beauty.
