Aloha! My name is Kate Asis of Breathing Space Hawaii. Our family moved to the Big Island after I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. My husband and I had always planned to retire on this beautiful island and my cancer diagnosis drove our decision to make our dream a reality. I left a corporate job in Charlotte, NC, packed our bags (with our daughter and fur babies), and here we are!

We started Breathing Space Hawaii because we are continually awestruck by the beauty and spirit of Hawaii, a constant source of inspiration. Our goal is to create paintings and home décor that will add vibrant, bright light and Aloha to you home. We can customize anything to suit your style!
